As generative AI rapidly expands across marketing, legal, engineering, and customer service, enterprises are discovering that the real challenge is not access to AI tools, but how to manage usage, data, and cost.

On May 5, Twister5 (7826) officially launched Across, an enterprise AI gateway platform, and announced partnerships with Phison Electronics, GoTrust, and Sunny Bank to build an AI governance ecosystem for Taiwanese enterprises.

From Internal AI Transformation to an Enterprise AI Gateway

Twister5 has traditionally focused on MSSP services built around global cybersecurity brands including Cloudflare, Cato Networks, and Palo Alto Networks. As the company adopted generative AI internally, however, it encountered the same challenges faced by many customers: marketing teams using ChatGPT for proposals, engineers using Claude Code for development, and sales teams uploading customer information into different AI applications.

With tools, accounts, and data flows scattered across multiple services, management had limited visibility into usage and spending.

Twister5 Chairman Hung-Kang Chang said:

“Enterprises do not lack AI tools. What they lack is a unified gateway that makes every AI interaction visible and manageable.”

Across is designed to serve as that enterprise AI gateway. Rather than replacing existing AI applications, it enables them to operate within a unified governance framework, giving organizations a safer and more controlled way to use AI across business operations.

Across is primarily built around Anthropic Claude. Twister5 has joined Anthropic’s development partner program, and its technical team has completed official Claude developer training. According to Twister5, Anthropic’s focus on AI safety and trustworthy system design closely aligns with Across’s core principle: “Born from Security.”

AI Workforce at the Core of the Across Platform

Across is built around AI Workforce, which powers three major modules: AI Security, AI Governance, and AI Ecosystem.

The AI Security module integrates logs and security events from platforms such as Cloudflare, Cato Networks, and Elastic, creating a centralized cybersecurity operations view.

The AI Governance module provides role-based access control, guardrails for sensitive information, token cost management, and human-in-the-loop review for critical decisions. It also extends Zero Trust principles into AI model usage, applying continuous verification, RBAC, and virtual key management to control which users can access specific models and data.

Twister5 has deployed Across internally, routing employee AI usage through a centralized gateway to improve visibility, governance, and cost management across different projects and tools.

Building an AI Ecosystem with Integrated Software and Hardware

Twister5 also announced the launch of the Across AI Ecosystem, connecting local technology providers, infrastructure, and enterprise data to create a more practical and scalable AI platform for Taiwanese businesses.

Key ecosystem partners include Phison Electronics, GoTrust, and Sunny Bank.

A major component of the partnership is Phison’s patented aiDAPTIV+ intelligent memory architecture. The technology dynamically allocates resources across HBM, GDDR, and flash memory, reducing dependence on expensive GPU resources while enabling large language models to run on local infrastructure.

This approach allows enterprises to reduce hardware costs and power consumption while keeping sensitive data on premises, supporting privacy, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements.

Phison Founder and CEO K.S. Pua said:

“The key infrastructure in the AI era is not only computing power, but also the ability to securely store and govern data. Our collaboration with Twister5 is about making enterprise AI infrastructure truly deployable and trustworthy.”

The integration of Across and aiDAPTIV+ creates a combined solution based on the concept of “local compute with governance built in.” Phison provides trusted on-premises AI computing, while Across delivers unified access, identity and permission controls, AI guardrails, and auditable usage records.

Together, the two technologies allow enterprises to deploy AI applications without sending sensitive data to public clouds, addressing the needs of highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Sunny Bank is among the first financial institutions to adopt Across. Yen-Chi Kuo, Manager of the Electronic Banking Department, said that compliance and data sovereignty are critical concerns for financial institutions adopting AI, and that Across provides a controlled environment for safely expanding generative AI applications.

Gartner identified AI Governance Platforms as an independent market category in February 2026 and forecast the global market to reach US$492 million in 2026 and exceed US$1 billion by 2030. Across differentiates itself through local deployment, data sovereignty, and a Taiwan-based ecosystem, using a model that combines on-premises computing with lightweight subscription services.

Beyond Across, Twister5 also plans to expand into two additional initiatives: SOC724.ai, focused on cybersecurity operations automation, and HireMeUp.ai, focused on digital workforce services, further extending the role of the enterprise AI gateway.
